Nestled within the lush surroundings of Serangoon Gardens Country Club, Cambridge @ Serangoon Gardens offers a distinctive pre-school experience with spacious learning environments and opportunities for outdoor exploration.
Supported by an experienced and stable teaching team, children are encouraged to explore, discover and grow with confidence throughout their pre-school years.
We are pleased to announce that, with effect from 1 December 2026, Cambridge Pre-school’s iSTEAM curriculum will be expanded to include ChildFirst Pre-school’s Trilingual Curriculum. Cambridge @ Serangoon Gardens will also be renamed to ChildFirst @ Serangoon Gardens.
Being located within Serangoon Gardens Country Club gives children access to an environment that is different from many conventional pre-school settings.
Children enjoy spacious classrooms together with dedicated outdoor areas for active play, water play and sand play, creating a healthy balance between classroom learning and active exploration.
One of the centre’s distinctive offerings is the weekly swimming lessons for Kindergarten 1 and Kindergarten 2 children, giving them regular opportunities to develop water confidence, coordination and physical skills as part of their school experience.
Teachers take time to listen, guide and encourage each child, building trusting relationships that give children the confidence to express themselves, try new experiences and learn at their own pace.
A typical day at Cambridge @ Serangoon Gardens moves naturally between learning, movement, exploration and rest.
Children begin their day with morning assembly and circle time before moving outdoors for experiences such as playground activities, water play or sand play.
Back in the classroom, children participate in iSTEAM learning, Chinese projects and other hands-on activities where they investigate ideas, experiment with materials and learn through doing.
The learning often continues beyond the classroom. During a parent sharing session, a parent shared how their child came home and talked about what they had learnt about the Archimedes screw and how it is used.
Everyday routines also give children opportunities to practise independence, interact with others and take an active role in their day.
Every stage of early childhood brings different developmental needs. Our programmes provide age-appropriate learning experiences that grow progressively with your child:
